Global Changer by Cambridge - four-level lower Secondary English course

Cambridge Global Changer is a four-level lower Secondary course designed to give young teens all the confidence they need to prepare them for a world where critical thinking, great communication skills and creativity are key.

Key Features:
- This lively English course is aligned with the competencies of the Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) and is specially designed to help teen students to be an agent of change from an attentive, careful and optimistic look, as it encourages them to embrace diversity and necessary conversations among the entire school community.
- With its fresh and fun approach to global real world-topics, Global Changer helps teachers prepare stimulating and easy-to-teach lessons that will ensure students are motivated and engaged throughout the whole school year.
- Global Changer draws on extensive research directly involving teachers and students in real classrooms all over Brazil to identify their top priorities in the Ensino Fundamental 2 English classrooms. We spoke to a number of Brazilian teachers and students to develop a deep understanding of how teachers are preparing the next generation to be critical, creative and autonomous, empowering them to be real game changers.
- Global Changer units are structured in a way that always contemplate texts on broad cultural themes, cross-curricular themes and linguistic content presented in real contexts. Thus, students are exposed to people and places from all over the world, and ask questions that encourage them to think about the differences between their culture and other cultures, as well as explore international values, preparing them even more for their future as global citizens.
