The presentation and practice of vocabulary and grammar are of equal importance and there is a strong focus on listening and speaking with an emphasis on 'real world' language for social situations. Face2face is also fully compatible with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and gives students regular opportunities to evaluate their progress. Face2face Second edition 2013 is the flexible, easy-to-teach course for busy teachers who want to get their adult and young adult learners to communicate with confidence. Face2face is informed by Cambridge English Corpus and the English Vocabulary Profile, meaning students learn the language they really need at each CEFR level. The course improves students' listening skills by drawing their attention to the elements of spoken English that are difficult to understand.
